Students pursue the Cambridge-referenced Secondary 1 curriculum.
Cambridge Secondary 1 develops learner skills and understanding in the key areas of English, mathematics and science for the first three years of secondary education. It provides a flexible framework for a curriculum that we can tailor to our needs. It is excellent preparation for IGCSE.
Our curriculum at ARIS provides a natural progression from the Primary Years Programme and sets clear learning objectives for the first three years of secondary education. The curriculum is internationally relevant and sensitive to different needs and cultures. Thus it is appropriate for learners whose first language is not English. Focusing on students’ development, it gives routes adaptable to the needs of ARIS students. International benchmarks are provided through the Cambridge Checkpoint service.
