Uniform Policy and Dress Code

Welcome Eagles!  We want to remind you that ARIS is a uniform school, all students must be in the prescribed uniform each day. All non ARIS branded uniform clothing is not allowed to be worn during the school day. Monday through Thursday students must wear the ARIS branded prescribed school uniform (see specific class timetable). 

 

Uniform and Personal Grooming

The following uniform and personal grooming apply to all students, male and female

  • Uniforms clean and pressed 
  • Nails must be clipped, no long fingernails
  • Jewelry is not allowed to be worn at school
  • long hair must be tied back 
  • Excessive hairstyles or manner of dress are not permitted

No non ARIS branded uniform caps, socks, sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, shirts, shorts, or skirts may be worn.

Friday Wear

On Friday the Faculty & Students come in optional Friday wear. The ARIS Cloth comes in 4-yard increments and is sold in the school store. You can be creative with the designs as long as it meets the school non-uniform dress code. Students may also wear their House T-Shirt with the Navy Blue PE bottoms. 

You must wear school-approved shoes, sandals are not allowed. 

School Dress Code Non-Uniform Days

The following non-uniform dress code applies to all students, male and female

  • Students should wear clothing of a modest nature suitable for a learning and work environment
  • Pants must have no holes, rips, tears or frays, intentional or unintentional that expose the skin
  • Shorts and skirts may be worn but must be no shorter than 5 inches above the center of the kneecap
  • Tops must cover the shoulders, no spaghetti straps
  • The midriff must be covered and strapless upper garments may not be worn
  • No sandals, flip flops, or open-toe shoes
  • Any student is free to wear the normal school uniform

Note: If a student is in clothing that is in our opinion inappropriate for a school work setting then they should expect to be challenged. Parents will be contacted to bring in a change of clothes.

Virtual Platform Dress Code

Students must report to the virtual classroom in the prescribed school uniform

Temporary Uniform

  • White, Black, or Navy blue polo style shirt
  • Jeans, no rips or holes
