Mr. Micheal Tornyo

DP Physics Facilitator (Secondary)

Michael Tornyo

Michael Tornyo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). After graduation, he worked with MTN for two years as Network Operations Engineer, MTN-Ghana NOC. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the University of Education, Winneba.

Michael has a strong passion for teaching hence in 2016, he decided to make teaching his profession. He has taught IGCSE and A-Level Physics and is experienced in coaching students to attain high academic levels. With his previous employer, he achieved one of the best IGCSE Physics CIE results and had one of his students receive CIE subject performance recognition award. He is now looking forward to teaching in a full IB-Continuum school!

Michael believes teaching should be a passion before making it a profession. His teaching philosophy asserts that students deserve quality instruction with the opportunity to interact with one another and the instructor. Michael loves playing table tennis in his leisure time.
