ARIS Varsity Athletics 2026/27
The ARIS Varsity Sports Programme gives students in Primary, Middle School and High School the opportunity to represent ARIS in competitive sport while developing teamwork, discipline, leadership, resilience and school spirit.
Students are selected through annual tryouts, during which coaches assess athletic ability, skill level, teamwork, commitment and readiness to participate in a competitive team environment.

Eligibility & Selection
Varsity teams are organised across in-season, off-season and year-round programmes.
Students are expected to demonstrate commitment to training, punctuality, teamwork, sportsmanship and the ARIS values throughout the season.
Selection for a team does not depend solely on athletic ability. Coaches will also consider attitude, consistency, commitment and the student’s ability to contribute positively to the team.
Swimming – Years 7–13
Students participating in swimming must arrive with the correct swimwear and equipment.

Required Swimming Gear
Swimmers should bring:
Swim cap
Goggles
Flip-flops
Towel
Cover-up or hoodie
Water bottle
Shower toiletries
Sunscreen, where required
Proper swimwear and equipment are required for participation.
During tryouts, swimmers are assessed on freestyle speed, stroke technique and endurance.
For health, safety and hygiene purposes, competition swimwear will be made available directly to selected athletes for individual use.
