ARIS Band
Welcome to the ARIS MS/HS Select Varsity Band
The ARIS Band is a special part of our music programme, open to select students who show skill, commitment, and passion for music. Together, we aim for performance excellence, teamwork, and representing ARIS proudly at school and community events.
Band Descriptions
Wind Band
The ARIS Wind Band is an ensemble made up of select students who play wind instruments such as saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and euphonium, along with percussion. Similar in style to a marching band, the Wind Band focuses on performance excellence, discipline, and teamwork. Members represent ARIS at school concerts, assemblies, WAISAL Band events, and community performances. The WAISAL enrichment experience is not a competition but rather an international school music festival, providing students with the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and perform with peers from across the region.
Pop Band
The ARIS Pop Band is made up of select student vocalists, keyboard players, drummers, bass guitarists, and guitarists. The Pop Band performs popular and contemporary music at assemblies, concerts, school/community events, and graduation ceremonies, bringing energy and creativity to ARIS celebrations.
