ARIS' Select Olympiad Club is designed for students passionate about English, Mathematics, Science, or Economics and committed to preparing for prestigious International Olympiads.
The Olympiad Program at Al-Rayan International School (ARIS) fosters critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence while building advanced problem-solving, resilience, and integrity through targeted training, mentoring, enrichment workshops, and practice sessions, culminating in participation in high-level academic challenges and competitions across multiple disciplines, locally and internationally.

Eligibility & Selection for 2025/26
ARIS Olympiad Program runs on clear, student-centered procedures to ensure fairness, safety, and academic rigor. An Olympiad Committee publishes the semester calendar in advance (weekly sessions, assessments, and any weekend intensives), sets selection and progression standards, and communicates expectations for regular attendance, home practice and conduct. Students must meet the program’s minimum attendance requirement, complete assigned work, and follow school behaviour and academic integrity policies to remain in good standing; non-compliance may lead to probation or removal. Competition entries and travel are approved by the Committee, with all official updates shared via the school calendar and email.

Math Olympiad
In the ARIS Math Olympiad programme, students prepare for and sit a range of reputable contests—such as the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO), American Math Olympiad (AMO), the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) pathways, and other equivalent national and international competitions.
Science Olympiad
Within the Science Olympiad programme, students prepare for and participate in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) pathway, the Ghana STEM Olympiad (GH-STEM), and other reputable national and international challenges announced each semester.
Economics Olympiad
In the ARIS Economics Olympiad programme, students prepare for and participate in the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) pathway, national qualifier events, and other reputable case, financial literacy, and data-analysis competitions announced each semester.
