The ARIS PSA out did themselves with the Welcome Back BBQ! Teachers, Parents and Students all put on their favorite football jerseys, dug out their gardening gloves, and cooked up some food to share! The day was packed full of activities getting ARIS families on the move! The BBQ was delicious, along with all of the trimmings!
ARIS PSA and families adopted trees to plant and painted flower pots. The parent/student football match brought out all of the parents hidden football tricks, some parents resorted to holding kids to keep them from scoring, but this tactic didn't stop our ARIS Eagles! The African Dance & Fitness group was a smashing success! The families learned new dance moves to show off at the next event!
The youngsters enjoyed the Toddler Zone with bounce house fun, fabulous face painting and Jr. drumming & dance, along with all of the carnival type treats, Pop Corn, Cotton Candy and Snow Cones.
The event was wrapped up with Madame Sandeepa Chavan, PYP Coordinator and Master of Ceremonies, hosting a Treasure Hunt and competitive games. The event ended with Madame Rouba Mattouk winning the person with the most rings, (we might have helped her, but don't tell Madame Sandeepa!)
The ARIS PSA Welcome Back Family & Staff BBQ was an event to remember. Welcoming in the New school year brought all of the families and staff together. The year got off to a busy start, this was a great opportunity to relax and meet up with others, while showing-off your game!
