PYP Tell me a Story, Storytelling by Mr. Khalil Khatib

The Art of Storytelling is one to be preserved. There is nothing quite like it to engage children, especially early years!

One of our parents, Mr. Khalil Khatib, volunteered to tell stories to our Early Years, Nursery and Reception classes and they had all the fun! The books read were “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and “Oh Say Can You Say” by Dr. Seuss. The storyteller had his broom and witches hat, and even his different voices ready to tell the stories, and the students laughed and engaged with the story throughout.
