We are proud to share that a group of our Year 6 students from Al-Rayan International School (ARIS) have been featured on the Empathy to Impact podcast with host Scott Jamieson.
In this inspiring episode, Sedra, Hiyan, Arham, Arnav, and Qingke (Coco) reflect on their learning journey through the PYP Exhibition, where they courageously explored the complex and meaningful topics of mental health, depression, and suicide. Their thoughtful conversations demonstrate the power of student voice, empathy, and action in addressing real-world issues.
The episode also highlights ARIS's unique Heart–Mind–Action approach to inquiry, developed by combining Kath Murdoch's Inquiry Cycle with the Empathy to Impact Framework by Inspire Citizens. This approach has become an integral part of teaching and learning across our Primary Years Programme, empowering students to think critically, care deeply, and take meaningful action.
This conversation is a wonderful example of our commitment to developing internationally minded learners who are confident communicators, compassionate leaders, and changemakers in their communities.
