Inclusion Week | Dyslexia Ambassadors

As part of Inclusion Week, Al-Rayan International School proudly hosted a landmark event celebrating advocacy, empowerment, and inclusive education. In partnership with the Africa Dyslexia Organisation, we witnessed the official unveiling of a new cohort of Dyslexia Ambassadors, recognising individuals who are committed to raising awareness, promoting understanding, and championing the strengths of learners with dyslexia.

The event honoured seven inspiring Youth Ambassadors—Abriana Atswei Adjoor Ablorh, Ameera Sedzro, Dominic Yoofi-Hene Pobee, Fawaz El Assaad, Hammond Appiah Kusi Kwaku, Imara Agyepong-Mtunga, and Mawuena Afi Mansah Apreku—whose leadership and courage are helping redefine what it means to learn differently.

We also celebrated the appointment of four International Dyslexia Ambassadors—Surama King, Frances Akinde, Aaron Dante Phillips, and Ama Mensah—whose dedication to advancing inclusive education continues to make a meaningful impact across the globe.

This inspiring occasion reinforced the importance of embracing neurodiversity and creating learning environments where every student is valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. We congratulate all of the newly appointed ambassadors and thank everyone who joined us in celebrating this significant milestone. Together, we continue to build a more inclusive future where every learner can succeed.
