During the ARIS Secondary Investiture Ceremony, our Guest of Honour, Mr. Theodore Albright, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message on the true meaning of leadership to our newly appointed Student Representative Council (SRC) and the wider student body.
Mr. Albright reminded students that true leadership brings order and direction. As he shared, “If you go somewhere and you see chaos, you know there is no leadership.” His words encouraged students to understand that leadership begins with responsibility and clarity of purpose.
He emphasised that the first person every leader must learn to lead is themselves, highlighting the importance of self-discipline, self-awareness, and integrity as the foundation of effective leadership.
Describing leadership as both a mindset and a process, Mr. Albright encouraged students to lead by example and to inspire others through their actions.
It was a meaningful and inspiring address for our newly invested SRC, reinforcing that leadership at ARIS is about vision, responsibility, and creating a positive impact within our community.
