At Al-Rayan International School, safeguarding is a fundamental priority and an essential part of our school culture. As is tradition, the 2025–2026 academic year began with Safeguarding and Child Protection training for all staff, led by Samuel Panti.
During the session, staff reflected on the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for every student. The training reinforced that safeguarding goes beyond policies and procedures—it is about the culture we build each day through our actions, awareness, and commitment to student wellbeing.
Together, staff explored how to lead by example, act as ambassadors of safeguarding within the wider community, and ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
As Samuel Panti shared during the session:
"Every child deserves protection and care, and I’m grateful to be part of a community that takes this responsibility seriously."
This initiative reflects the Vision 2030 pillars: ARIS Leads and ARIS For Everyone, where strong leadership, shared responsibility, and a culture of care ensure that every learner thrives in a safe and inclusive environment.
