Our Reception students dove into the magical world of secondary colours through hands-on exploration and playful inquiry.

Using colourful pompoms as their tools of discovery, students squished, rolled, and mixed colours to observe how new hues are created. With excitement and curiosity, they proudly arranged their results on the STEM Colour Wall, turning their classroom into a vibrant display of scientific exploration.

Through this activity, students explored how materials interact and change while beginning to recognise patterns and systems in the world around them. Experiences like this nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love for discovery from an early age.
