Parents Meeting-IBDP/TOK

The Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is one of the three elements that make up the core of the Diploma Programme, it sits alongside the Extended Essay and CAS. The TOK is designed to develop a coherent approach to learning, it unifies the academic area and encourages appreciation of other cultural perspectives.

The TOK Course "Challenges students and their teachers to think critically on different ways of knowing and areas of knowledge, and to consider the role knowledge plays in our society. TOK encourages students to become aware of themselves as thinkers to become aware of the complexity of knowledge and to recognize the need to act responsibility in their society and the world."
