Making The World A Better Place

Feb 25, 2015

Learners in year 2-A inquire about what the world is. The globe was out, and in use as the pupils explored the global community of earth.

Conclusions were made about the vast amount of water, noting that water covers a large portion of the earth.

They made inquiries about significant inventions and presented them in class. Two groups presented their information found from the inquiry in a flow chart, others sorted information into two categories using the Carol’s diagram.

In pairs, learners determine force by creating objects with plaster cine. As one student kneads dough, the other observes and writes down the actions seen. Through this, they came up with what force is and what makes people apply force.

Central idea: People apply their understanding of forces and energy to invent and create. Trans-disciplinary theme: How the world works.
