PYP Diwali Celebration

Nov 13, 2015

Embracing various cultures, appreciating traditions and respecting each other is what PYP strives to do. ARIS will leave no stone upturned to make this happen.

Diwali was celebrated in PYP ARIS with much pomp and show. The Indian Parent body of about more than 17 ladies got together and worked tirelessly for 15 days, organising the show. Committees were made, discussions were debated, responsibilities were shared and agendas were planned.

The 5 day festival was showcased and the flavour of good triumphing evil was the essence of the event.
With rangoli, decorations, diyas, delicacies and dancing the Diwali showed a fantastic glimpse of the Indian culture, family traditions and all the aspects of the festival.

A classical dance at the beginning of the event got everyone in the festive mood. Children enjoyed wearing traditional Indian wear, dancing to the rhythm of the tabla and eating the ladoos.

The light that signifies good over evil and brightness over darkness continues to shine in ARIS…..
