Computers: Past, Present, and Future

Year 2: Computer’s past and present in integration with PYP: WHERE WE ARE IN PLACE AND TIME

In integration with their PYP unit “Where We Are in Place and Time”, Year 2 pupils ran an investigation on computers in the past and present. The pupils started by breaking down the topic into a mind map of questions, and went to the web for the answers. They noted down their findings and decided to organize their ideas into a multimedia presentation where they combined text and images.

The learners developed their research, note taking, and organization skills throughout the project.

Software used: Free Mind for mind mapping, and Microsoft PowerPoint for setting the presentation.
