Computing: Investigating the World of E-Commerce

Year 6: investigating the world of e commerce, in integration with PYP: How we organize ourselves.

In integration with their PYP unit “How We Organize Ourselves”, Year 6 pupils investigated the world of e-commerce. Divided in groups, children chose an e-commerce provider and ran a web search to find out more about it: the good it sells, its payment options, shipping and handling, and customer services and returns. To know more about the use of e-commerce in Ghana, the children passed an online survey around the primary school. They collected their answers, analysed their findings and included them in multimedia presentation.
