Learning to Learn

Nov 15, 2016

Through ATL (approaches to learning) students develop skills that have importance across the curriculum that help them “learn how to learn”. This is the way students reflect on their ways of learning. The project was titled "How do I learn best?"

Students of years 7 - 11 answered a VARK, (*the acronym VARK stands for Visual, Aural, Read/write, and Kinesthetic sensory modalities that are used for learning information) questionnaire concerning how do they learn best? They were able to identify whether they are visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners. Once the results were gathered, the students sat together and designed their projects.
