Who's the Best Worm in Town?

Nov 3, 2016

Are you a voracious reader? Are you looking out for ways and means to indulge in some time for reading? Are you a book worm and are willing to take up a challenge? Then ARIS has some exciting news for you.

We are conducting a ‘Book Worm Challenge Month’ for the whole month of November.

The challenge rules are:

  • Anyone who is associated with ARIS qualifies to be a part of this challenge (students, staff and parents)
  • You are to read the maximum number of books from 1st November to 30th November.
  • Staff and Parents have to fill a template after reading each book (which ensures that you have actually read the book). Students will fill in the reading logs with an additional note instructed by the PYP Librarian Mrs Jewell.
  • The books read have to be age appropriate.

A gift awaits the winners of the book challenge, and the best part is that there is one gift for every group! (students, parents, staff)This is an activity to encourage reading and hence we want maximum participation. Those who wish to participate, kindly give your names to Mrs Jewell, on the 31st of October between 7.30 and 8.30am, just outside the office. You can collect the template then.

The winners will be announced on the first of December 2016 (green day). The decision of the judges will be final. Books can be read in any language.

So, come one and come all, be a part of the book worm challenge and enrich yourself as ARIS gives you the opportunity to be the BEST WORM IN TOWN!
