To be a good Principal entails a lot. Key skills we always work hard to develop are those related to our Emotional Intelligence. Self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management are actually crucial skills in establishing caring, professional relationships with teachers, students, parents and board members.

To be successful we need to listen carefully to others, always show interest and try to discover if there is an underlying problem or issue that we, as a team, can solve.

It is quite wonderful for me to begin my week listening to our Nursery students issues and agreeing with them on solutions... just because of that I believe that my job is quite simply the most satisfying job ever.
