Parents Workshop: Nutrition & Behavior Management

On 15 February, our Early Years Programme (EYP) parents and teachers participated in a Behaviour Management and Nutrition for Toddlers Workshop. The workshop was lead by Dr. Funke Baffour, a Certified Nutritional Advisor and the Head of ARIS Counselling and Support Department, Casey McFeely, the ARIS Special Education Needs Coordinator, and Dorothy Amoabeng and Sandra Wiles, Primary Learning Support Teachers. The interactive session included participation from parents who present their thoughts on the terms “good behaviour”, “bad behaviour”, “discipline”, “healthy,” and “unhealthy.”

Madam Casey and Madam Dorothy facilitated a discussion centered on tips for behaviour management at home. Topics covered included the ABC’s of behaviour, creating home routines and responsibilities, and decreasing undesirable behaviours.
