The Secondary School as part of its monthly hosting of Guest Speakers gave another platform for its students to be inspired by a powerful speech from Mrs. Esther Armah. The speech centered on “Writing Your Own Story”. She admonished the students to believe in themselves and challenged them to use the power of their imaginations to “write their own stories” for the world see and to explore the world and see themselves as global citizens.

Feedback from students and staff after the speech was very positive.

About the Guest Speaker: Esther Armah is a Ghanaian international award winning journalist who has worked with the BBC in London, CNN in New York and across Africa. She is a multi-media journalist: a writer, a radio host, a television commentator. Armah uses multimedia as a development tool, to devise and lead creative campaigns and to bring unheard perspectives and fresh narratives to global audiences. Esther lived and worked in London for the BBC for 10 years.
