Year 5 and 6 students participated in the PYP Speech Competition. The students had to memorize the speech and speak for at least 2 minutes...with a maximum of 3 minutes. Many say that rote learning has its own advantage. We do not promote rote learning in PYP, these events give our students a chance to memorize and reproduce what is learnt by heart! Many exceptional speeches were delivered today.
