A Rich Mix of Nationalities Learn all About Diwali

In ARIS, we celebrate our rich mix of nationalities and encourage our children to learn more about other cultures, making them the most open-minded world citizens.

Festive spirit is in the ARIS air again, with the celebration of Diwali on the 18th of October, 2017.

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, “festival of lights”, is celebrated usually in our school with great vigour and zeal. This year is no exception.

To celebrate this Indian festival that spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair; a special assembly will be held on Wednesday.

Keeping up with the true tradition of Diwali, a Rangoli competition, sharing of delicious Indian food and sweets, cultural dances, Mehandi designs and various other activities are planned.
