Let Us Learn Body Parts with Pinocchio and the Ginger Bread Man!

This week, our nursery students embarked on their first stage of inquiry, which was ASK by John Dewey- they learnt about the different parts of the body, and did this through two stories- Pinocchio and the Ginger Bread Man. The students were very curious about Pinocchio’s long nose and the Ginger Bread Man’s eyes and buttons. On Wednesday, the students used flour, water, paper and other materials to mold their own Pinocchio’s and Ginger Bread Man’s from scratch! They were excited, engaged, involved and very inquisitive about the body parts that they were molding. The exercise was super practical, interactive and filled with songs.
