Celebration and Traditions Around the World

This unit for our littlest ones at Playgroup is ‘Celebration and Tradition around the World’. For this unit, they started with an outside Activity, and it could not have been any cuter. We pride ourselves as a multicultural school, and right from their formative years, we create an environment where they are able to learn and appreciate all the cultures and nationalities that surround them.

With Ghana being our home country, last week’s unit started off with Ghanaian Culture, as they aim to look at different cultures from the different nationalities in Playgroup, each week. They learnt about the food in these cultures, the dances, the flag and so on. The little inquirers has a blast as they danced different dances from Ghana and sang, learnt about food through various Ghanaian kitchen props, and did role plays in different costumes.

We cannot wait to see more, and gush at the cuteness!
