PYP Inquires About Ramadan

May 17, 2018

Inspite of the gloomy weather, the Ramadan performances by the PYP Children brightened up everyone’s day!

Organized by Sara Captan and our Muslim Parents, our program this morning was beautiful, right from the décor, to the presentations to the performances. The place was decorated with white balloons and all the children wore white.

The performances began with the Year 1 students singing us two songs, followed by two sisters from Reception and Nursery singing another song. There were also little skits and ensemble dance performances. It was so cute! See the pictures below to get a look!

There were also presentations by our PYP Children on the Dos and Don’ts of Ramadan, and what Ramadan really means and the significance of it.

In the spirit of Ramadan shone through as parents donated heaps full of non perishable goods to donate to an Orphanage.

Every Friday is laced with greatness here at ARIS! Have a great weekend!
