Float Your Boat 2019

This weekend was a busy one for ARIS. Not only did we have International Day but we also had our IBDP Students take part in the annual Float Your Boat Competition that is organized by Environment360.

Float Your Boat is a great initiative to get the youth involved actively in the cause of environmental sustainability and recycling. The funds raised also go for environmental education for students in urban and rural areas. This event is also open to all. Students make a team of 5 and build a boat that is made entirely with plastic bottles and recycled materials; and thus, the competition begins.

This year, ARIS' Team of the "Drowning Eagles" came in 2nd Place in the final race! We are so proud! Go Eagles!
