PYP Celebrates Turkish Children's Day

23rd April is National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Turkey dedicated to all children around the world! Turkey celebrates children's agency by allowing children to take seats in the parliament on this day, each year.

After 1979 was declared as the Year of the Child, the international community recognized Turkish Children's Day 23rd April as one of international importance!

Last year, our students went to Turkey to be a part of the Children's Day Festival. This year, our small but affluent Turkish community came together to celebrate it with food, music, dance and more!
