ARIS Gym Team Ghana Training in Belgium

ARIS has a Select Gymnastics programme geared towards talented young gymnasts from ARIS and a few other schools. The ARIS-Cowbell Gymnastics Team coached by Ms. Caroline van Hombeeck has made its way to the SYTA 2019 Tournament held in Belgium where two pairs of the team got 1st and 3rd place.

They have been hard at work with continuous practices and improving their skills, and this summer has been no different. One pair out of the ARIS-Cowbell Gymnastics Team, Aline and Suwebat, are at a more advanced level, and they just completed a 5-Day Gymnastics Training Camp in Buizingen, Belgium.

From Monday 19th August to Friday 23rd August, Aline and Suwebat trained for 6 hours a day. But it doesn’t end there! Perfection takes loads and loads of practice. Aline and Suwebat are currently in Liezele, Belgium for “Ambitious Pro Gymnastics” Club training where they train for 3 to 4 hours a day.

We are so proud of all the hard work that they are putting in. Also, a big kudos to Ms. Caroline van Hombeeck for empowering and transforming them into the gymnasts they are today, and the gymnasts they aspire to be!
