PYP Numeracy Integration - Weight Measurements - Year 1

For their Unit of Inquiry on Measurements, the Year 1 students continued their inquiry into the measurement of weights. What is heavier than the other, and how do we determine this?

In an activity set up with various objects, students worked in groups to measure various things on either side of their bean balance. They used toys, and piled them one by one and learned new concepts as they went into their explorations.
