Oct 24, 2019

Team ARIS has arrived for the IB Global Conference 2019, in Abu Dhabi and we cannot be more excited!

The IB Global Conference 2019, Abu Dhabi, is a gathering for IB schools that provide an avenue for participants to learn and gain more insights on the International Baccalaureate Programmes and how the IB is being executed in a diverse range of countries and cultures!

The team, comprising of our Director, Dr. Fatma, our clinical psychologist, Dr. Funke Baffour, the ARIS Arabic Program Coordinator, DP Examiner and ATL Coordinator, Madam Boudour Obeid, PYP Year 3 Facilitator, Madam Yinka Iloanya and PYP Year 6 Facilitator, Madam Charity Borteley Mensah are ready to represent the school and more importantly present the ARIS Wellbeing Model at the Conference.

The ARIS Personalised Wellbeing Model is a skill-based programme which aims at helping students to develop core skills, building on their resilience. The programme is sectioned into six modules; Me, Myself and I, Friendship and Relationships, Embracing Diversity, Health, Mind and Body, Me and My Future, and Me and the World. This wellbeing model has proven to be effective and we cannot wait to share this as a team to the IB world!
