PYP Homowo Festival

Afi oo Afi! The ARIS Community would like to wish the Ga Community a Happy New Year as they celebrate the Homowo Festival!

In our bid to nurture open-minded students who are mindful of the diverse cultures that exist in our world, our students today had the privilege of meeting the Osu Wulomo, Nuumo Gbelenfo of Osu, who gave them first-hand information on the festival.

Amongst other things done during this event, the students learned how to dance some traditional Ga dances and got the opportunity to see some foods typical to the Ga community.

It was indeed a day filled with a lot of history and fun. Our eagles are definitely on the right path to becoming global citizens!
