PYP Reception Inquiry on Friendship

As part of their Unit of Inquiry on Friendship, our PYP Reception students inquire about who our friends can be.

Naturally, as human beings, we are friends with other human beings. However, can we be friends with animals? Of course!

Going further into the inquiry about friendship, our students had pets, brought into school, under the supervision and consent of their parents and interacted with these pets. It was a pleasure to see students play with these pets and talk about how they take care of them and what they like the most about them. Caring and looking after these pets all form part of creating a friendship with them!
