Happy 71st Republic Day, India!

Feb 10, 2020

A colorful flag hoisting ceremony was held on 26th January 2020 at the India House, in Ghana, to mark the 71st Republic Day of India.

Attending this august occasion was The High Commissioner, Shri Sugand Rajaram, who read out the honourable President of India’s address to the nation. The Ghana Police Central Band also attended and executed a beautiful rendition of the Indian National Anthem and other Indian songs. Cultural performances by the various international schools were displayed, and of course, Al-Rayan International School participated.

Our students were participants of this celebration, giving beautiful performances, in music and dance and show of cultural attires. There was a marvelous show of culture and the audiences were mesmerised at the creativity that was exhibited at the celebrations.

ARIS is a very diverse community of learners from all over the world, thus our school is culturally enriched with students who are eager to learn about the different cultures that exist.

Happy 71st Republic Day India! We hope that the years to come are more inspiring, empowering and transformational!
