Secondary Dance Mania 2020 – Everything is Awesome!

Secondary Dance Mania is a day set aside annually, for our students to compete and express themselves through DANCE! And this year, at the Secondary Campus we were served back to back with amazing dance moves and music!

Students from our MYP 1 Year 7 to MYP 3 Year 9 classes competed in this year’s dance mania, with the theme “Everything Is Awesome”, in memory of Malek Saleh. The music and dance were incorporated with afrobeats, to the delight of students and staff. The students, led by their class dance captains competed fiercely. At the end of the competition, Year 8A came in at 3rd place, Year 9B came in at 2nd place, and for giving the audience a spectacular show of moves, teamwork and an absolute good time on stage, Year 8B emerged as winners of Dance Mania 2020!

The audience, which comprised of students and staff, was really supportive and sang and danced along to the music that was played. There were performances from students in the higher classes and it was absolutely brilliant.

An event as creative and fun as Dance Mania would never be complete without a performance from our fantastic facilitators who inspire and empower students to be the best versions of themselves in every field! And what an electrifying and energizing performance it was!
