The PYP Eagles honour Ghana’s first Prime Minister, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah on his birthday which was the 21st of September 1909, and put on a show as a memorial to celebrate his good works for Ghana.
Our Eagles demonstrated incredible performances during the celebration on the 20th of September 2022, with songs, games, dances, some motivational words used by the Prime Minister and many more.
During the celebration, the Eagles shared his “biography” starting when he was born, his schooling and his accomplishments and sang the “Happy Birthday song” and the Ghana National Anthem. They cheered “tsooo bo ai !!!” a word Dr.Kwame Nkrumah used to motivate his followers and the country to come together and accomplish a set goal.
They also displayed traditional games and songs such as Ampe, Trust-fall, Sansankroma and others, with a beautiful dance performance from the PYP teachers creating an atmosphere of loud cheers and excitement. A job well done by our students and teachers in PYP.
