Enrichment & Enhancement Programme
At ARIS, we ensure that we develop diverse pathways for students; not only by providing support, but also by designing personalised approaches that empower every student to succeed.
We believe that diversity enriches the learning experience, and we are dedicated to accommodating students of different abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. Our inclusive approach guarantees that all students are supported in their learning journeys, while promoting equity, participation, and belonging within our school community.
Our Enrichment and Enhancement Programme is designed to support students with diverse learning needs (SEN) while providing challenging opportunities for gifted and talented learners.
The Programme is led by the Enrichment and Enhancement Programme Manager alongside two Enhancement Programme Coordinators (SENCo) and an Enrichment Programme Coordinator.
Enrichment Programme
At ARIS, our Enrichment Programming is first designed to enrich learning for all students, with a specific focus on extending learning for those who are working above grade level or demonstrating exceptional intellectual abilities. Students identified as high ability, gifted, or talented through rigorous evaluation processes gain access to enriching opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Our dedicated facilitators are continually empowered with best practices and the latest research to effectively support students who seek greater challenges in their learning journey.
To further enhance inclusivity, our Enrichment Facilitators provide a range of extended learning opportunities outside the classroom. These include participation in International Gifted Education Programs, Olympiads, Model United Nations (MUN), leadership projects, internships, and mentorship opportunities. We encourage our students to challenge themselves and develop their unique talents in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Enhancement Programme
ARIS's neurodiversity and learning differences support program provides individualised pathways for students with diverse learning profiles. We have a team of specialised educators who work in partnership with families to ensure every child feels understood, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Every child in the Enhancement Programme has a Personalised Learning Plan (IEP) which is reviewed and updated regularly by the Enhancement Team in collaboration with the homeroom facilitator/subject teachers, parents and students. Regular progress reports and updates are shared with parents.
We offer inclusive learning environments to students with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, executive functioning challenges, and more.
Our Enhancement Programme also provides specialist support for students where English is not their first language. Students who are beginning to learn English as an additional language (EAL) are also given a Personalised Learning Plan (IEP), access to trained EAL teachers and language learning tools.
